EXCLUSIVE VALUE OF THE REGIONAL PARK
It is the smallest in Lithuania, however very interesting regional park. The exclusive features include the pic turesque erosional hills (ravines) created by powerful flowing water streams with unique landforms: erosional fans, remnants, ridges, and long branching ravines. An exclusive role in forming the identity of the park has been played by the unique Ribiškiai and Iškartai erosional fans, Lyglaukiai erosional remnants, and Pūčkoriai exposure as well as unique valley of the Vilnia river. An important accent – Pūčkoriai exposure in the Vilnia valley. Very rare bat species in Europe – Barbastella barbastellus.
